Erratum

PMCID: PMC3222364

In: Lee BY, McGlone SM, Song Y, et al. Social network analysis of patient sharing among hospitals in Orange County, California. Am J Public Health. 2011;101(4):707–713. doi:10.2105/AJPH.2010.202754.

Some statistics were improperly reported. On page 710, right-hand column, 2nd paragraph, the last 2 sentences should read: For the TPS network (N ≥ 10), correlations were only modest (ρ = 0.43), meaning that geographic proximity accounted for less than half of the patient-sharing likelihood. This likelihood increased somewhat for higher thresholds (for ≥ 100 patients, ρ = 0.59).

The results and conclusions are not affected by this change.
