Subcellular localization of Cda2 in β-1,6-glucan-deficient mutants. Western blot analysis of Cda2 was performed as described in the legend of Fig. 1, and fractions collected from the kre5Δ mutant, the kre6Δ skn1Δ mutant, and wild-type serotype A background strain H99 were compared.
