Learning is a continuous process. There is no age limit for learning and we all learn something new every single day. It is always better to learn newer things and be abreast and aware of the developments in the science.

As we step into the year 2012, we have many a scientific program lined up, that make learning definitely, a continuous process.

To start with this year, we have the postgraduate convention at Lucknow in the month of April where, the postgraduate students will have an opportunity to listen to the speakers to enrich their knowledge as well as an opportunity to present their papers.

Secondly, as mentioned by our honorable President in his message, a series of ‘Training of Teachers’ workshop has been planned that will be kicked-off in June from Udaipur and also will be conducted in the other parts of the country for the benefit of the life members.

Lastly, ‘Integrate’ – an implant workshop would be held in the month of August at Mahe (Pondichery), where all the members can come and learn on basic and advanced Implantology.

So, this year seems to be packed with many opportunities for learning and I request all the associate and life members to make use of these opportunities to enhance and hone their teaching and clinical skills.

The beautiful thing about learning is nobody can take it away from you.
