There is an error in the legend to figure 54 of the article entitled “Elements of morphology: Standard terminology for the hands and feet”[Biesecker et al., 2009]. The legend should read “Figure 54. Narrow palms. Note that this patient had normal palm length, so that this is not an example of long palms with only apparently narrow palms.” The authors regret the error and thank Prof. Peter Robinson for pointing this out and providing us with the opportunity to correct the error.
