CVMA offers online courses

The CVMA's 24/7 online courses will be of interest in 2 important ways. First, specific courses have been developed for continuing education in areas such as business management and veterinary medicine. The courses are given by experienced veterinarians and management professionals. Members of the CVMA save 50%. Equally interesting will be consumer courses designed for animal owners. Why? Because a better informed client will arrive at your clinic, saving you time.

Simply go to www.canadianveterinarians.net, and in the upper right-hand box entitled “Veterinarians,” click on “Click here to log in or join the CVMA” (If you hit “Online Training Courses” in the Learning Library box on the left you will not be able to access the exclusive courses for veterinarians, as this will take you to the www.animalhealthcare.ca site.). Log in using the code provided previously by the CVMA. If you don't remember your log-in code, call the CVMA at 1-800-567-2862 ext. 10. Once you have logged in, go to “Management and Scientific Courses” in the Learning Library box, and then click “Browse the Catalogue.” You may take the first module of each course at no cost, so that you can assess your level of interest in the course. Available courses to date are as follows:
