The Bond — Developing a Prosperous Practice:

The Team Approach, Relationship Management, and Marketing with Bernhard Pukay

The objective of the Bond course is to outline and discuss the 5 approaches to a practice becoming a Bond-Centered Practice. The course will briefly review the CVMA Opportunity for Renewal Study and the AAHA/CVMA/AAVMC Mega-Study and apply their findings to practical practice management issues. Veterinarians will learn the 3 basic needs of clients and the 6 common myths about veterinary practice. Topics Covered: Overview of current trends; brief review of the CVMA and AAHA/CVMA/AAVMC study reports; 5 steps to becoming Bond-Centered; defining a “good” veterinarian; relationship versus resource-draining factors; basic needs of clients; understanding your clients; 6 common myths about practice; the “success cascade”; the effects of raising and lowering your fees; the “Bond” philosophy.
