CVJ COLUMNIST NAMED TO AAHA BOARD

The CVJ's own Dr. John Tait, writer of the Veterinary Practice Management column, was elected to the American Animal Hospital Association's (AAHA) board of directors and installed at the association's annual meeting in Phoenix in March.

A 1986 graduate of the University of Guelph in Ontario, Dr. Tait is the director and adjunct professor at the Ontario Veterinary College, Veterinary Teaching Hospital, Department of Clinical Studies at the University of Guelph. Dr. Tait also serves as the CVMA's National Examining Board's head examiner for the Clinical Proficiency Examination at the Ontario Veterinary College.

“It is an honor and privilege to be part of a team of leaders that will help guide and influence the direction of companion animal practices in the years to come,” says Dr. Tait.

Dr. Tait has been an active leader of the veterinary profession, serving on the board of directors of the Ontario Veterinary Medical Association, the business management committee of the CVMA, and as an editorial board member of the Ontario Veterinary College Alumni Association, in addition to his service with the CVJ and the AAHA.
