Abstract

Cervical lymphadenopathy due to several different actiologies is commonly seen in Otorhinolaryngologie(ENT) clinies. Toxoplasmosis is one of the rare causes of cervical lymphaden-apathy although it is not true the other way around as lymphadenopathy is not rare in the cases of toxoplasmosis. It is even rarer for the toxoplasmic lymphadenopathy to be symptomatic. The case presented here becomes more interesting as it unusual to see affection of anterior cervical lymph nodes rather than the posterior group which typically gets involved in Toxoplasmosis. Over view of the literature has also been discussed.

Key words: Cervical lymphadenopathy, Toxoplasmosis
