Cyclosporine primarily inhibits the calcineurin-dependent transcription factors in NFAT (nuclear factor of activated T cells) family rather than the transcription factors in the NF-κB (nuclear factor kappa-light-chain-enhancer of activated B cells) family as presented in the text and figure of this review article.
