Scrapings were derived from women with a normal cervix and cervical cancers (A) and from patients referred with an abnormal smear with different histological diagnosis: CIN1, CIN2, CIN3 and mi-CC (B). The level of methylation for all DMRs increased with the severity of the lesion (all p < 0.001).
