• The abstract lists two percentages which should be contained by parenthesis. The statement should read: “We found that participants had a high interest in participating in (80 %), allowing their children to participate in (78 %), and learning more about genetic research studies (90 %).”

• The word “logarithmically” in the Introduction section, first paragraph should be changed to “exponentially.” The sentence should read: “Therefore, appreciation of the complexities of the genome and the interplay between genes and the environment have grown exponentially, subsequently spurring an increase in human genome-sequencing technologies.”

• The word “effects” in the Methods section, first paragraph, third sentence should be “affects.”
