The abstract lists two percentages which should be contained by parenthesis. The statement should read: “We found that participants had a high interest in participating in (80 %), allowing their children to participate in (78 %), and learning more about genetic research studies (90 %).”
The word “logarithmically” in the Introduction section, first paragraph should be changed to “exponentially.” The sentence should read: “Therefore, appreciation of the complexities of the genome and the interplay between genes and the environment have grown exponentially, subsequently spurring an increase in human genome-sequencing technologies.”
The word “effects” in the Methods section, first paragraph, third sentence should be “affects.”
Under the Data Management and Analysis Section under Methods, the word “numbers” should be “number” in the following line: “Incomplete or improperly answered questions were discarded, resulting in a varying number of respondents for each question.”
