Abstract

In an accompanying paper, the coordinate variation in lengths of deoxyribonucleic acid molecules and head lengths in morphological variants of bacteriophage T4 is discussed. As an appendix to that report, models for the T4 phage heads, based on previously developed architectural principles for assembly of icosahedral virus, are compared with the data for the best fit.
