There is an error in the ‘Investigations’ section of the paper. In the last sentence of this section the expansion of MSSU was incorrect. It should read as follows:

‘The formal mid stream specimen of urine (MSSU) microscopy showed WBC 125, red blood cell count 1, epithelial cells 33 but there was no significant growth on culture.’
