Mononuclear leukocyte infiltration was significantly increased in rat UCMSC-treated orthotopic Mat B III grafts. Samples were prepared as described in Methods and subjected to histologic analysis after hematoxylin and eosin staining. Typical PBS-treated and rat UCMSC-treated tumors are shown. (A) Most cells in the PBS-treated tumors are tumor cells (inset).
