In the Results and Discussions section of our article, the last term in Equation (3) should read 1/d not 1/d^2. The correct form of the full equation is,

$$I=V([{\mu }_{{Na}^{+}}+{\mu }_{{Cl}^{-}}]n_{\mathit{NaCl}}e){\left(\frac{4h_{\mathit{eff}}}{\pi d^2}+\frac{1}{d}\right)}^{-1}.$$

This erratum does not affect any of the experimental results, discussions, or conclusions reported in the paper. The authors sincerely apologize for this unintended oversight.
