We thank the authors for their interest in our study. We included only patients who had well controlled diabetes mellitus. A review of post-operative records did not reveal corneal epitheliopathy due to Povidone-Iodine (PI) in any of our cases. However, prospective studies regarding the corneal effect of PI will be useful in this regard as suggested by the authors.
