Protective effects of the hot water extract of T. fuciformis on Aβ protein-induced cytotoxicity in PC12h cells. Cells were pretreated with or without various concentrations (1~100 µg/ml) of the hot water extract of T. fuciformis for 24 hrs and then incubated with Aβ protein (5 uM) for 60 hrs. Cell viability was assessed by MTT reduction assay. I) Control (negative vehicle); II) Hot water extract of T. fuciformis 100 µg/ml; III) Hot water extract of T. fuciformis 10 µg/ml; IV) Hot water extract of T. fuciformis 1 µg/ml.
