Interaction Between Red Cell Stroma and Streptolysin O: Inhibition of Cytotoxic Activity

Abstract

A blood red cell stroma extract neutralizes cytotoxic activity of streptolysin O. The component responsible for inhibition was precipitated by 60% ammonium sulfate and by lysozyme.
