In Vitro Activity of Coumermycin A1 Against Mycobacterium tuberculosis var. hominis

Abstract

Coumermycin A1 exhibited in vitro activity against eight strains of Mycobacterium tuberculosis var. hominis. All eight strains were inhibited by levels of 2.5 μg/ml, and six of the eight strains were inhibited by levels of 0.3 μg/ml or less.
