The occurrence records for reptile species in Romania. EOO was estimated as 100% minimum convex polygon, and AOO was estimated as the total area of all UTM grid cell containing species records. Since not all UTM cells matched the 25 km² area, the computed AOO is not a multiple of this value. Rarity index was calculated relative to a 50 × 50 km cell in order to check for regional patterns.
