AUTHOR CORRECTION
Volume 4, no. 3, doi:10.1128/mBio.00538-12, 2013. After publication of this article in mBio this year, we were contacted by Dr. J. Vicente and Professor E. Holub (University of Warwick) about the improper use of Xanthomonas strains from their HRI collection. These strains were obtained under a Material Transfer Agreement (MTA) which was not valid at the time of publication. After discussions with our British colleagues, coauthors, mBio editors, and our legal departments, all parties have reached an agreement which requires a correction of the Acknowledgments of the published article. All authors have read and approved this correction and apologize for any inconvenience this correction might cause.
The Acknowledgments should read as follows:
We are thankful to Brigitte Mangin for statistical advice and to Lionel Gagnevin for help with AFLP analysis. We also thank the reviewers for their constructive comments to improve the manuscript. The thirteen X. campestris pv. campestris strains identified with HRI numbers were obtained from Warwick HRI (now part of the University of Warwick) under a Material Transfer Agreement. These isolates are not available for distribution from the authors of this publication but can be obtained through the University of Warwick by contacting Dr. Joana Vicente or Professor Eric Holub.
