DKK1 inhibits and DKK2 enhances vessel functionality demonstrated by lectin perfusion. DKK1 Tg (n = 6) and DKK2 Tg (n = 6) mice and their wild-type littermates (n = 6 for each group) were subcutaneously injected with B16F10 melanoma cells into the abdomen. Mice bearing 1,000 mm³ tumors were injected i.v. with biotinylated lectin. Tumor sections were stained with Alexa488 conjugated to streptavidin and anti-CD31 antibody.
