SSRP1 functions as a co-activator of the transcriptional activator p63

The results of immunoprecipitation–Western blot analysis for p73–SSRP1 interaction in cells are shown in (D), while those for p53–SSRP1 interaction are shown in (E). Panels F and G show the interaction between p63 and SSRP1 in 293 cells after treatment with 0.25 μM of doxorubicin (Dx). Cell lysates were harvested at different time points after treatment for immunoprecipitation (IP) with antibodies against SSRP1 (F) or p63 (G), followed by Western blot analysis with antibodies against SSRP1 and p63, as indicated on the left.
