Correction

After publication of their article [1], the authors noted an error under the section "Density change and recurrence-free survival". Where it currently reads "After adjusting for confounding factors, patients with MDRR ≥ 15% had a higher risk of recurrence than patients with MDRR <15% (HR 1.60, 95% CI 1.02 to 2.50, P = 0.041) (Additional file 1, Table S5)", this should be changed to "After adjusting for confounding factors, patients with MDRR <15% had a higher risk of recurrence than patients with MDRR ≥ 15% (HR 1.60, 95% CI 1.02 to 2.50, P = 0.041) (Additional file 1, Table S5)."
