Unable to rise from a sitting position unassisted
History of weight loss (>5%)
Noted or reported decline in function, strength
History of recurrent falls
Post hospitalization
Co-morbidities associated with loss of muscle mass (e.g. diabetes mellitus, congestive heart failure, chronic kidney disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, rheumatoid arthritis.)
Gait speed < 0.8 m/s over 4 m
