Variables significantly associated with 12-month PND score as determined by multivariate analysis: ITT population p values calculated using mixed non-parametric covariance analysis performed on rank data with study centre as random factor. ^aVariables identified as significant (p < 0.2) in the univariate analyses were included in the multivariate analyses. These were: mesh fixation (Tisseel/Tissucol versus sutures), age, employment status, pre-operative PND score, and 1-week post-operative PND score.
