Columns 2–4 show the mean (SD) of the fractional anisotropy for each tract. The next columns give the standardized β coefficients for the planned contrasts of the persistent and remitted ADHD groups against the never-affected comparison, ‘control' group (unadjusted and adjusted) with the associated effect size (d). The final columns show radial and axial diffusivities for the persistent against the comparison group; there were no significant differences between the remitted and comparison group.
