I was destined to be bald
Before I got old
It was ordained in the womb
The first signs were in the comb
A hair here and there
Causing a great scare
The trickle became a tide
And the patches became wide
Remedies new and old
Left my follicles cold
No wigs as I do not care
For another man's hair
A head like a lion
Became one with a melon
Loss of the mane
Is a great bane
Leaving me shattered
When it most mattered
I bemoan my fate
With a bald pate!
