Photograph and ICG overlay of core biopsy specimen from a 66-year-old man (patient 5) with a history of CRC. ICG overlay demonstrates intense fluorescence signal within the area of core sample that most likely corresponds to malignant tissue, while there is no appreciable fluorescence within the area that resembles adjacent normal liver. Pathologic result from the core specimen was consistent with metastatic CRC.
