The article published in print and online has an error in the abbreviations list. The gene name “TAZ” has been used in the scientific literature for two distinct genes: the acyl transferase, taffazin, and the transcriptional co-activator with PDZ-binding motif, also known as WWTR1 (WW domain containing transcription regulator 1). In this article, the abbreviation “TAZ” refers to WWTR1, not to taffazin.

The author apologizes for any inconvenience caused.
