Depletion of inflammatory monocytes does not reduce pyuria or protect against chronic cystitis. Mice were either treated with 20 μg of the MC-21 anti-CCR2 monoclonal antibody (α-CCR2, open circles) or 20 μg of isotype control antibody (Iso, closed circles) intraperitoneally 2 h prior to intravesical inoculation with 10⁸ cfu of the UPEC strain UTI89.
