The effect of PGE₂ (10 μM) on cell cycle was analyzed together with the induction of apoptosis. As illustrated no effect on the addition of PGE₂ on the different phases of the cycle (A) and cell viability (B) was observed over a period of 72 h. We also analyzed the effect of PGE₂ on the expression of stemness markers under similar conditions and as illustrated in (C), the expression of these markers was not affected by the treatment.
