Possart, A., and Hiltbrunner, A. (2013). An evolutionarily conserved signaling mechanism mediates far-red light responses in land plants. Plant Cell 25: 102–114.

The authors issue the following corrections to the supplemental data:

The supplemental data PDF file has been replaced with a version containing corrected figure legends for Supplemental Figures 1, 2, and 11, wherein we point out the reuse of images of moss protonemata and immunoblots from the same light treatments shown in Figures 5, 1, and Supplemental Figure 8, respectively. The conclusions are unaffected by these changes.

This concerns the following pairs of figures:

Supplemental Figure 1E (WT and Pp-PHY3:YFP) reproduces images used in Figure 5E (dark controls WT “D” and Pp-PHY3:YFP “D” from R light treatment, hybridized with anti-YFP antibody).

Supplemental Figure 2A reproduces images from Figure 1D (Pp-PHY1:YFP “D” and “10 min R”).

Supplemental Figure 11B reproduces images from Supplemental Figure 8B (WT “FR” and “D” and Pp-fhy1 mutant “FR”).

Editor’s note: the above text and corrected supplemental figure legends were reviewed by members of The Plant Cell editorial board.
