Effects of RBP on serum adeponectin (A) and leptin (B) in HCHF-fed rats. Oral administration of RBP 500 mg/kg or pioglitazone 10 mg/kg daily for 6 weeks significantly increased serum adiponectin relative to normal control, and decreased serum leptin relative to the HCHF control group.
