(A, B) VA10 cells were treated with (+) or without (−) 20 nM 1,25D3 (A) or 2 mM PBA (B) and subjected to cyclic stretch for 6 h and 24 h. The mRNA expression of genes encoding pro-inflammatory cytokine IL-8 was analyzed with q-RT PCR (n = 3, mean ± S.E.).
