In the published study, “Can an Arthroplasty Registry Help Decrease Transfusions in Primary Total Joint Replacement? A Quality Initiative” the list of authors is not in the correct order. The correct author order should be: Mark W Allen DO, Nicole M. Zappa DO, MHA, David C Markel MD. The author order is correct here and above.

The authors would also like to add: “Support for the Michigan Arthroplasty Registry Collaborative Quality Initiative (MARCQI) is provided by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Michigan (BCBSM) and Blue Care Network as part of the BCBSM Value Partnerships program. Although Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and MARCQI work collaboratively, the opinions, beliefs and viewpoints expressed by the author do not necessarily reflect the opinions, beliefs and viewpoints of BCBSM or any of its employees.”

The authors apologize for the error and omission.
