The authors wish to note, “After our paper was accepted, we determined that the pH in cells was closer to 5.8 than 7.6. Experiments were repeated at the correct pH (1). The result changes the conclusion about the GB1 stability in cells. Specifically, the result indicates that the protein is less stable in cells than it is in buffer. The results for BSA at pH 7.6 are unchanged.” The corrected Fig. 6 and its legend appear below.
