A. Ingenuity pathway analysis was utilized to compare the potential linking pathways between NCF1 (p47phox) and Egr-1/Fyn. Potential linking targets are those that show congruent regulation and interaction in TKI-resistant cell lines and LSCs from blast crisis patients over chronic phase LSCs [39, 48]. B. Our working model predicts that resistant CML and GBM cells share a pathway through which an oncogene promotes ROS generation through NOX2 leading to Egr-1 expression leading to proliferation and survival even in the presence of TKIs.
