Mediastinal cyst containing mural pancreatic tissue.

Abstract

The second documented case of mediastinal ectopic tissue presenting as a mediastinal mass is reported. Previously reported cases of ectopic pancreatic tissue in the thorax are reviewed in an attempt to explain this anomalous development.
