Sir,

We sincerely appreciate the interest shown by the reader in our article and for their valuable comments. The author of the letter had clearly explained about the ‘response shift bias. As we didn’t intend to find out the response shift bias, the Retrospective pre-post (RPP) values were not compared with ‘Traditional pre-post’ values. Apart from avoiding the response shift bias as the author pointed out, RPP has other advantages. RPP can be valuable in situation where pre-test evaluation, either self-assessment or objective, would sensitize the learner and have a negative influence on experiential learning. Finally, RPP is easier to administer as the data collection is done at one point in time.
