Erratum

In the December 2001 issue of the Journal, in the article “A Genomewide Search for Quantitative-Trait Loci Underlying Asthma,” by Xu et al. (69:1271–1277), the sentence that reads “This study has been approved by the Human Subject Committees at Brigham and Women's Hospital and at the Harvard School of Public Health” should instead read as follows: “Subject enrollment started in February of 1995, after approval was obtained from the local Chinese Institutional Review Board. Approval was received from the Brigham and Women's Hospital Institutional Review Board in September of 1995.” The authors regret this error.
