EDITORIAL
Starting with the April 2016 issue of Clinical and Vaccine Immunology (CVI), two new sections will be added to help our readers keep pace with the rapidly growing fields of vaccines and clinical immunology: CVInsights and Meeting Highlights. CVInsights will feature brief, insightful editorials highlighting new developments and expert opinions on timely and significant topics. Meeting Highlights will briefly summarize presentations and discussions from recent scientific meetings on major and relevant themes.
The primary purpose of these initiatives is to disseminate new and important information on issues of contemporary interest and to highlight advances and current research trends, to facilitate progress in areas where research is needed.
In addition, CVI has recently launched a new Spotlight section, which showcases articles of particular relevance published in each issue. We have also introduced a new design for the cover of the journal, which features scientific art from our published papers.
An exceptional group of Editors, Editorial Board members, and production team members, with ASM support, contribute their talents and efforts to ensure the success and standing of CVI.
We look forward to continuing to serve ASM members and the broad vaccine and clinical immunology community with enthusiasm, a fresh look, and the highest scientific and editorial standards.
