In the article by Johnson et al, “Body Mass Index, Outcomes, and Mortality Following Cardiac Surgery in Ontario, Canada,” which published online July 9, 2015, and appeared in the July 2015 issue of the journal (J Am Heart Assoc. 2015;4:e002140 doi: 10.1161/JAHA.115.002140), the authors omitted the following “Sources of Funding” information:

“This study was supported by the Institute for Clinical Evaluative Sciences (ICES), which is funded by an annual grant from the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long‐Term Care (MOHLTC). The opinions, results, and conclusions reported in this paper are those of the authors and are independent from the funding sources. The authors regret the error.
