The article titled, “Phytochemical and antimicrobial studies of extracts of solanum xanthocarpum” published in pages 83 - 87, issue 2, vol. 24 of Ancient Science of Life[1] is being retracted. It has been found that the same article by the same authors was previously published in pages 90 - 94, issue 2, vol. 23 of this journal[2]. Technical errors during the editorial process led to the duplication of the article. Therefore on the grounds of duplicate publication, the concerned article[1] is being retracted.
