INTRODUCTION: Intracranial dermoid cystic tumors account for <1% of all intracranial masses. OBJECTIVE: To describe the incidence of Intracranial Dermoid Cysts which are rare in Indonesia. CASE REPORTS: Ms.S, 14 years old, came to Neurosurgeon Policlinic of Arifin Achmad General Hospital, Pekanbaru with headache, blindness in left eye, there was not weakness of extremities. Patient had those complaints since 3 years before this admission. 3 years ago patient complained about headache and left eye blurred. Patients came to pediatrician, got some treatments, pediatrician transfered to Ophthalmologist, got some examinations and everything was normal. Ophthalmologist transferred to Neurosurgeon and in n 2012 got CT Scan and blood test, and the results showed there was a mass in her head. The Neurosurgeon said surgery was needed to remove the mass. The parents denied and didn't want to do a surgery. For 2 years the patient continued her life with headache. At the end of 2015 patient was complaining about headache, the parent came to neurosurgeon and committed to surgery. After surgery, there was not complaint about headache, the left eye still blind and there was not complaint about weakness of extremities. DISCUSSION: In Indonesia, there is some problem in society which denied about their health problem. This is a bit challenging for Health worker to involve and persuade society to get a realistic treatment. CONCLUSION: There is some problem in developing country to make trusts of society to get a better health treatment. Keywords : Intracranial dermoid cysts, Developing country
