Page 12: The University of Maryland was noted as having served as a Regional Medical Library (RML) “since the beginning of the program.” Only two libraries have served as RMLs since the beginning of the program: the University of Washington (1968) and University of California-Los Angeles (UCLA) (1969). The National Library of Medicine served as the original RML for the region now covered by the University of Maryland.
