This book is a concise and contemporaneous treatise on the subject. The editors have judiciously and wisely collated various concepts and issues of this multidimensional and vital aspect of medical care. The inclusion of articles by both foreign and Indian authors brings to the book the unique perspective of development and operationalizing of Emergency Medical Services and Disaster Management The perspective is global but imaginatively incorporates the local variables.
