Abstract

‘BESS/BOA Patient Care Pathways, Traumatic anterior shoulder instability’ by Peter Brownson, Oliver Donaldson, Michael Fox et al. published in Shoulder & Elbow 2015, Vol. 7(3) 214–226. DOI: 10.1177/1758573215585656.

For the above paper, the summary section on page 224 was incomplete. The following bullet point was missing:

  • Following traumatic instability surgery, patients will require follow up to ensure return of function and range of movement. It would be expected that patients would require up to three outpatient follow up consultations over a minimum of 3 months. The number and duration of follow up visits would need to be increased with more complex surgery or if patients have persistent symptoms
