There were some suggested ambiguities with regards to the actin immunoblots shown in Fig. 4, A and C, because they were closely cropped and compressed in the original figures. To correct this, higher resolution images were provided for all time points. The actin immunoblots for e14.5 embryonic samples correspond to the same samples that were analyzed for Noxa and Bax proteins from Brn-3a−/− or WT controls. Moreover, additional images were provided for e16.5 embryo samples to show Bax or Noxa proteins and corresponding actin (on the same blot) in samples analyzed from WT or Brn-3a−/− embryonic samples. These corrections do not affect the results or conclusions of this work.
