I want to thank Dr. Edward Lee for serving as Guest Editor for this issue of Seminars in Plastic Surgery on Dermatology for Plastic Surgeons. We also appreciate the efforts made by each outstanding author for sharing with us their knowledge and expertise.
Dr. Lee is an Assistant Professor, with a specialization in pediatric plastic surgery, in the Division of Plastic Surgery in the Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine and the Texas Children's Hospital in Houston, Texas. He is a graduate of the Baylor College of Medicine where he trained in plastic and reconstructive surgery; he completed a fellowship in Pediatric and Craniofacial Plastic Surgery at Texas Children's Hospital.
Dr. Lee has research interests in many aspects of pediatric, craniofacial, and general plastic surgery. He is currently involved in several projects that address scarring and wound healing; he is also pursuing interests in the field of noninvasive facial rejuvenation. He is a superb clinician and uniquely qualified to edit this issue.
